Nov 18, AP: “(By the Associated Press)
“Mena, Nov. 18. – Eight members of the family of R. E. Weems at Wicks, on the Kansas City Southern, about 25 miles south of here were killed last night when their home collapsed during the storm, according to reports received here today. News of the deaths came here when call was received for eight coffins. Detail and names were lacking and could not be obtained on account of the demoralized wire service.

“Hot Springs, Hov. 18. – Two are reported dead in the tornado which last night struck rural sections 20 miles east of Hot Springs. The ‘twister’ struck rural sections 20 miles east of Hot Springs. The ‘twister’ struck Magnet Cove and Londale. Several children were injured.

“Lumber Camp Yields 1 Victim to Storm (By the Associated Press)
“Arkadelphia, Nov. 18. – One was killed and several injured in a storm which struck a lumber camp 12 miles west of here last night. No damage was done outside the camp, except for uprooted trees.
